‘Be the best you can be’

Welcome to Lobley Hill Primary School

On behalf of the staff I would like to welcome you and your family to our school. Our work begins by building upon the crucial role that you undertake with your child at home. It is our aim to develop a successful partnership with you to enhance the academic, social and moral education of your child.

Our inspiring environment is the outward sign of the vibrant learning community we have built within. Our children are very proud to be part of a school where they learn, enjoy and achieve through a range of opportunities, both in and out of the classroom. We encourage all our children to shine, to discover their talents and share them with others. We continually strive to achieve our school aim which is to ....'Be the Best you can Be' in an environment which is respectful, challenging and supportive and which enables every child to fulfil their potential but at the same time enjoy their childhood. We are determined to support our children to become confident, successful and responsible young people ready to make their contributions to life in the 21st Century.

The purpose of the website is to inform you about our wonderful school. However, it is impossible to convey the friendly, caring atmosphere of our school or the commitment and enthusiasm of the staff. One of the most positive features of our school is the excellent relationships which underpin everything we do. The only way is to see for yourself. Do not hesitate to make an appointment to look around our school whether you are a new family or an existing one. You will be very welcome. Mrs Sue McElrue, Headteacher

A huge thank you for all of your generous donations and sponsorship for Children in Need. We raised over £2500!
