Years 3 and 4 Hindu Temple

We would like to say a big thank you to the guide and the priest at the Newcastle temple as year 3 have recently enjoyed their visit. They found out about the Hindu culture and the way in which they worship. Year 3 were very interested in the symbols used and the many dieties. We were able to observe the 11:00 prayer.

Year 4 are very excited to attend on the 9th March.

Years 5 and 6 Residential Outdoor Adventure Activities

Over the next two weeks years 5 and 6 will be attending Kingswood Residential Outdoor Centre in Hexham, Northumberland.

During the visit the children will participate in a range of exciting, unique, (muddy) pursuits. These include quad biking, high ropes and zip wire to name but a few!

Part of the essential items needed include wellington boots, waterproofs and several pairs of thick, long, socks.

Watch this space for further updates and photographs.

Year 6 Hancock Museum

Miss Kemp, Mrs Harris and year 6, will be taking a bus trip to the Hancock Museum to speak to an Ancient Greek Hoplighte (soldier). They will be spending the day exploring life in ancient Greece.
